Join MQI Coaching experts from Harvard University for a self-paced, two-week online mini-course that offers an introduction to the foundational components of our math-specific coaching model.

- Format: Self-paced, two-week online course featuring recorded mini-lectures by HGSE Professor Heather C. Hill, orientation to and practice with MQI Coaching model and resources, and asynchronous discussion.
- Audience: Instructional coaches and leaders new to the MQI Coaching model, seeking a math-specific framework for observing instruction and developing a shared language to support more structured, impactful coaching cycles grounded in evidence.
- Application: Provides practical tools for observing instruction and supporting coaching conversations. Participants will gain actionable takeaways to incorporate into their coaching practice right away, while helping participants determine whether to pursue deeper engagement through our other coach trainings or research opportunities.

By the end of this course, participants will gain:
- A foundational understanding of the coaching cycle and its role in supporting teacher reflection

- An understanding of the research base behind the MQI Coaching model
This course takes approximately ten-hours of self-paced work and awards a certificate of participation. At the end of the course, participants will retain read-only access for 90 days.
