Professional Learning Services

MQI Coaching offers a variety of services, designed to improve the quality of mathematics instruction in your school or district.

The MQI Coaching model combines video observations of math instruction and math-specific measures of high-quality instruction to facilitate teacher growth. Through structured coaching cycles, coaches facilitate teachers' analysis of their own instruction and support them in making realistic, actionable improvements to their instruction.

For districts that want to provide ongoing and individualized support to teachers, but lack the internal capacity to provide math-specific coaching at scale, our expert coaches at Harvard can provide virtual, one-on-one coaching to teachers in your district.

For schools or districts that want to build the capacity of their instructional leaders, our train-the-trainer model offers training and ongoing support for local leaders. Whether you join us at one of our workshops or we provide a coach training customized to your context, this model provides coaches with the tools they need to facilitate more effective coaching conversations and improve instruction throughout your school or district.

If you're an instructional leader in mathematics (coach, teacher leader, admin, etc.) looking to learn from our trainers, we offer multiple workshops for your professional learning, including our annual summer institute, an introductory mini-online course, and upcoming curriculum-specific coach training opportunities.
