Seeking New Partners for the Math Out Loud Study
We're excited to share a no-cost opportunity for teachers in your district to receive instructional coaching from our Harvard-trained math coaches.
Stanford's Graduate School of Education is expanding their Math Out Loud research project, focused on supporting multilingual learners in mathematics classrooms by developing tools to help teachers notice and respond to student thinking. We are looking to partner with districts who can help us recruit eight to ten math teachers who:
- Have a high percentage of Spanish-speaking students
- Teach in grades 3-9
- Give students lots of opportunities for discussion in their math classes
Are open to recording their classroom, and in particular student talk during small group work
Benefits for teachers:
- Access to personalized coaching focused on student communication and task launch
- Automated feedback on their math instruction
- Connection to a supportive community of math educators
- Hourly compensation for their time
- Priority access to a no-cost AI summit at Stanford
Thank you for considering this opportunity. To ensure you're up and running in time for the next school year, we encourage you to get in touch soon. Our team will work with your district to adhere to all research requirements and provide detailed plans on consent processes, and privacy and security of data.
