**Use a math-specific coaching model to transform your work with teachers**

MQI Coaching workshops are an opportunity for **math coaches and instructional leaders** to learn best practices and leverage resources from our team at Harvard University, so that they can replicate [our positive results](https://mqicoaching.cepr.harvard.edu/research-study) in their own school or district. All workshops provide participants with a math-specific framework for observing and discussing instruction, and resources for a more impactful and structured way to facilitate coaching cycles with math teachers.

Gain the knowledge and skills to implement the MQI Coaching model in your own context by learning about and applying both the MQI observation rubric and a framework for classroom observation and coaching feedback.

### MQI Coaching with the IMplementation Reflection Tool Institute

Apply the MQI Coaching routines to the [IMplementation Reflection Tool (IRT)](https://sites.google.com/illustrativemathematics.org/irt/home), an observation tool designed specifically for IM**®** Math Curricula from **Illustrative Mathematics®**. Gain in-depth knowledge of the IRT and how to leverage it to strengthen classroom observations and coaching feedback.

Math coaches and instructional leaders supporting implementation of **IM Math**

No prior experience with MQI Coaching necessary

Suggested for districts already familiar with IM’s problem-based curriculum who are looking to support teachers’ ongoing implementation of IM Math

### MQI Coaching Mini-Course: Improving Math Instruction through Feedback 



Explore the foundations of the MQI coaching model and get an introduction into how to use the MQI rubric and coaching cycle to provide non-evaluative feedback and support high-quality math instruction.



Online, asynchronous/self-paced (~10 hours over two weeks)



Math coaches, leaders, and other educators seeking an entry-level experience to the MQI Coaching model and its implementation.
