## **The MQI Coaching with the IMplementation Reflection Tool Institute is a collaboration between MQI Coaching and Illustrative Mathematics**®**. Participating math coaches and instructional leaders will gain evidence-based routines and resources to provide effective, job-embedded coaching that elevates teachers' implementation of IM**® **Math.**

#### This institute introduces the coaching model that pairs the proven routines of MQI Coaching with the IMplementation Reflection Tool (IRT), IM’s curriculum-specific framework for observing and strengthening math instruction.



 

#### **What participants gain:**

- In-depth working knowledge of the the IMplementation Reflection Tool (IRT) and how to leverage it to improve implementation of IM Math
- An understanding of the principles of effective coaching and how to put them into practice
- Practical resources and tools for facilitating purposeful coaching cycles that are focused on observation and feedback
- Dedicated time to practice and apply the mode so you are ready to implement more effective professional learning and coaching in SY 2026 - 27



 

#### **Who should register:** Math coaches and instructional leaders supporting implementation of IM Math 

- **Math instructional coaches of all experience levels.** No prior experience with MQI Coaching necessary.
- **District, school, department, or teacher leaders focused on math curriculum and instruction.** Suggested for districts already familiar with IM’s problem-based curriculum who are looking to support teachers’ ongoing implementation of IM Math



 

####  **Key details:**

- **Dates:** July 7, 2026 - July 30, 2026
- **Format**: Virtual with a combination of synchronous webinars and asynchronous/self-paced learning experiences (~1 hour pre-work per webinar)
- **Live Webinar Schedule:** Every Tuesday and Thursday, July 7, 2026 - July 30, 2026, from 2:00 - 4:00PM EST. Recordings and all content are available to participants online for one year.
- **Price**: $999 per participant or $899 each for groups of 2+. Options to pay by credit card or invoice.
    
    *Cancellation policy: you may receive a full refund, minus a $50 processing fee, if you cancel on or before 30 days prior to the start date*
    
    *Payment must be received in full before the start of the Institute. In certain cases, if full payment has not yet been received, acceptable proof of a purchase order may be used to gain access to the course until payment is processed.*
- **Certificate of completion:** Participants who complete all components will receive a certificate for 24 contact hours from MQI Coaching and Illustrative Mathematics
- **Scholarships Available:** Anyone is welcome to apply for a scholarship to the 2026 MQI Coaching with the IMplementation Reflection Tool Institute. Applicants must be supporting teachers with implementation of IM Math curricula. If we have more applicants than funds available, priority will be given to coaches or instructional leaders in mathematics working in public K-12 schools in the United States where there is limited funding for professional development, and those who have dedicated time to work with teachers to reflect upon and discuss instruction (outside of instructional time) in their day-to-day schedules.
